‘Thriller’ Lego video: Michael Jackson honored in new animated art video
by joann 9 October, 2013

Michael Jackson‘s classic “Thriller” video has been honored in a new “Thriller” Lego animated rendition.

The “Thriller” Lego video pays homage to one of the most popular music videos of all times and is truly a Lego work of art.

The “Thriller” music video first debuted back in 1983 amazing music and video lovers of all ages with the detailed costumes, choreography and story line of the 13-plus minute long music video.
Artist Annette Jung, is the name of the woman behind the “Thriller” Lego video concept. Jung used thousands of red and blue Lego bricks to portray Michael Jackson‘s transformation into the teen werewolf.

Jung reveals that she used the bottom sides of the Legos bricks, which double as pixels, to create the shading also layering the Legos to create the exact depth needed for the the 10-week-long project.

It is a pretty cool rendition.
