Katherine Jackson Still 'Not In Contact' With Missing Persons Investigators
Posted on Jul 22, 2012 @ 04:05PM

Her sons Jermaine and Randy say she's safe and under a doctor's care in Arizona, but eight hours after the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department publicly asked Katherine Jackson to get in touch they still haven't heard from her.

As RadarOnline.com revealed, a missing persons report was filed late Saturday by Katherine's nephew Trent Jackson, after a week of her grandchildren, Prince, Paris and Blanket, not being able to reach her.

"We have nothing further to report on the case of Katherine Jackson at this time," a spokesperson at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station told RadarOnline.com exclusively just after noon Pacific Time on Sunday. "She has not been in contact."

This is not what authorities had hoped would happen. At 4 am Sunday, they publicly asked her to contact them.

"Katherine Jackson is reportedly with family members," the department said at that time. "Late Saturday night, a different family member reported that he was unable to speak with her and is concerned for her well being. Deputies are continuing to make efforts to reach her and ask that she contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department."

The mystery of Katherine's whereabouts comes amid the latest Jackson family controversy. Katherine's children Randy, Jermaine, Tito, Rebie and Janet all signed a letter addressed to the executors of their brother's estate demanding that they step down.

Their letter included the allegation that Katherine was so stressed by their handling of the estate she'd had a "mini-stroke," something Paris and Katherine's reps have all denied.

Let me put to bed today's nonsense: as I made clear some days ago, Mother is safe and well in Arizona with her daughter and our sister, Rebbie, resting up on doctor's advice, so it is beyond me how she can be reported "missing"

This incredulous claim was made for reasons best known to the adult/s who filed it but it seems no accident that it comes after we, the sons and daughters, put in place care-taking for our own mother, taking her to Arizona in line with doctor's advice following a check-up.

Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist "missing person" report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael's children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told.

No-one is being "blocked" from speaking with Mother. She is merely an
82-year-old woman following doctor's orders to rest-up and de-stress, away from
phones and computers. Everyone has been well aware of this within the family,
but I would like to reiterate my reassurance to the outside world that Mother is
fine. In the meantime, thank you for all your thoughts and concerns.

Katherine Jackson has spoken to police, and she is not in danger ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ police were able to make contact with Katherine today ... and she informed them "she is fine and with a family member."

Another source tells us she is Arizona.

The LA County Sheriff's Department has been investigating Katherine's whereabouts since she was reported missing late Saturday night.

We're told the Sheriff's Dept. is still speaking to Jackson family members to find out exactly why Katherine's nephew filed the missing person report in the first place.and NOT Missing

X17 EXCLUSIVE - Arizona Sheriff's Department Interview Katherine Jackson, Confirm She’s “Having A Good Time With Family”
Posted on Sun Jul 22, 2012 09:00 PM PDT

"Katherine Jackson is not missing and she's having a good time with family," confirms the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
X17online can exclusively report that a law enforcement official was sent from the department to interview Mrs. Jackson at the undisclosed location in Arizona where she is currently staying. The visit was a direct request from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department ... who had been notified by Katherine's nephew, Trent, that the Jackson matriarch had been missing.

The law enforcement official who interviewed Katherine Jackson for 30 - 45 minutes also spoke with X17 exclusively and gave us a first hand account of the visit:

"When I got there, Katherine Jackson and her family were at the dinner table and had just finished a game of Uno. In fact, their dinner plates were still in front of them. She seemed like she was having a good time. She was happy, safe and healthy. Basically Mrs. Jackson was vacationing with her family here in Arizona."

We're told Mrs. Jackson is currently staying with her daughter Rebbie, her granddaughter Stacy and also her great grandson, London. The law enforcement official tells us "this was strictly to check on Mrs. Jackson's welfare."

The Malibu Lost Hills Sheriff's Office was notified about the outcome of the visit with Mrs. Jackson. We're told the office "seemed ok with it and were appreciative" that the Pima County Sheriff's official paid Mrs. Jackson a visit.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department has filed their report confirming Mrs. Jackson's safety.

Michael Jackson's mother is safe, sheriff's officials say
July 22, 2012 |  8:41 pm

L.A. County Sheriff's Department officials said  Michael Jackson's mother is safe after some family members had reported her missing.

Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said detectives have determined Katherine Jackson was staying with other family members.

Jermaine Jackson went on Twitter to say that his mother is fine. "I want to reassure everyone (inc all sudden medical experts) that Mother is fine but is resting up in AZ on the orders of a doctor, not us."

Other family members -- including Michael Jackson's daughter -- had publicly said Katherine Jackson was missing and that they were concerned about her welfare.

Paris Jackson, Michael Jackson's daughter, wrote on Twitter: "Yes, my grandmother is missing. i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now."

Katherine Jackson, mother of Michael Jackson, feared ‘missing’ is safe: report

The family matriarch is "okay," but has "gone into seclusion because she's very upset about the will," said Brian Oxman, the Jackson family's former lawyer, who says he spoke with Katherine's son, Randy Jackson.
Oxman, who was on Michael Jackson's molestation trial defense team until he was dismissed in 2005, was disbarred in California in early July after a state bar ruling found that he and his wife mixed clients' and personal funds to evade creditors.

Michael Jackson's Ex-Wife Debbie Rowe 'Extremely Concerned' About His Mom Katherine
Posted on Jul 23, 2012 @ 03:15AM
By Jen Heger - Radar Assistant Managing Editor

UPDATE: Detectives with the LAPD  Monday said they have had contact with Katherine Jackson and she is on a planned vacation in Arizona.

Michael Jackson's ex-wife, Debbie Rowe, the mother of his children Prince and Paris, is extremely concerned for Katherine Jackson, and she’s vigorously monitoring the situation, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

"Debbie is actively monitoring the situation and is extremely concerned for Katherine. She has tremendous respect and love for Katherine and is also concerned for the children and is angry that Paris has been unable to talk to Katherine for the past week," a source close to the situation tells Radar.

As we previously reported, Katherine Jackson, 82, was reported missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department after her grandchildren, Paris, Prince, and Blanket were unable to reach her all week.

"While Debbie hasn't been a strong presence in the children's lives, she loves them tremendously and is concerned for their well being," the insider says. "Debbie and Katherine were able to reach an out of court custody agreement in the months after Michael died. Debbie had no interest in fighting Katherine for custody of the children. However, if Katherine has suffered a health setback, this could very easily end up back in court because Debbie has very strong feelings about Michael's siblings having any role in caring for the children."

Meanwhile, Randy, Jermaine, Tito, Rebie and Janet Jackson all are demanding that the late singer's Estate executors John Branca and John McClain resign. They wrote a letter claiming Katherine was "so stressed" by the handling of the Estate she suffered a stroke, something Paris and Katherine's reps deny.

A desperate Paris Jackson repeatedly took to Twitter Sunday morning. Michael Jackson's 14-year-old daughter begged for news on the whereabouts of her grandmother.

"Yes, my grandmother is missing I haven't spoken with her in a week I want her home now," Michael's only daughter wrote in the pre-dawn hours Sunday.

Michael's mother gets $70,000 a month from her late son's estate for living expenses. The sole beneficiaries of Michael's estate are his three children and his mother.

Calls seeking comment to Rowe's attorney weren't immediately returned.

Howard Mann was interviewed by Good Morning American and confirmed that there is a definite division within the family over MJ's will

http://www.celebuzz.com/2012-07-23/katherine-jackson%E2%80%99s-business-partner-%E2%80%98i%E2%80%99m-truly-concerned-for-her-safety%E2%80%99-exclusive/

Katherine Jackson’s Business Partner: ‘I’m Truly Concerned For Her Safety’
2 HOURS AGO

Katherine Jackson’s business partner is headed to a Los Angeles court on Monday to learn a judge’s summary judgment ruling in his ongoing legal battle with the Michael Jackson Estate — all while mystery continues to surround the whereabouts of the famed music family’s matriarch.

Ironically, it was Canadian-born entrepreneur Howard Mann who first claimed the Estate is a “fraudulently obtained dictatorship” — long before five members of pop star’s family penned a letter in which they suggested their late brother’s last will and testament was “fake, flawed and fraudulent” — and that the executors of the estate, John Branca and John McClain, forged the King of Pop’s signature on it.

Speaking exclusively to Celebuzz, Mann said he was concerned for the welfare of 82-year-old Katherine, who was reported missing to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on Saturday night. She reportedly contacted police late Sunday afternoon.

“I am truly concerned for Katherine’s safety,” Mann told Celebuzz.

“My thoughts are with her and Paris, Prince and Blanket as they attempt to maintain a normal life in this tumultuous time.”

As Katherine’s lawyer Sandra Ribera told Celebuzz, she flew to Albuquerque, N.M. on July 15 to watch her four sons in concert two days later, but has not been heard from since. Jermaine Jackson, one of Michael Jackson’s brothers, said Friday afternoon that his mother is doing fine and is simply “resting up” in Arizona.

Mann operates the website JacksonSecretVault.com — and helped Katherine produce the coffee table book, “Never Say Goodbye”. In Jan. 2011, the Estate filed a lawsuit against the businessman, accusing him of violating copyright and trademark laws by cashing in on all things Jackson.

The latest drama surrounging the Jackson clan came after Tito, Randy, Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie Jackson demanded the co-executors of their brothers’ Estate resign immediately, as Celebuzz first reported.

The Jackson Strife: Family bickers over whereabouts of Michael's mom
By Alan Duke, CNN
July 23, 2012 -- Updated 1613 GMT (0013 HKT)

Los Angeles (CNN) -- Katherine Jackson, reported missing Saturday by her nephew, told a law enforcement officer in Arizona Sunday that she was "fine," a source close to the investigation said.

But Michael Jackson's three children still have not heard from their grandmother a week after she left the Calabasas, California, home where she lives with them, according to Katherine Jackson's lawyer.

The lack of contact with the Jackson family matriarch led her nephew Trent Jackson to file a missing person's report with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department late Saturday, Jackson attorney Sandra Ribera said.

It is the latest chapter in a messy dispute between several of Jackson's children and her advisers over her finances and legal affairs.

Jermaine Jackson, in a statement posted on Twitter Sunday night, said the children were not "being 'blocked' from speaking with Mother," who he said "is safe and well in Arizona with her daughter and our sister, Rebbie, resting up on doctor's advice."

"She is merely an 82-year-old woman following doctor's orders to rest-up and de-stress, away from phones and computers," he tweeted.

His statement did not explain why Paris Jackson, the 14-year-old daughter of Michael Jackson, was rebuffed in several attempts to reach her grandmother on the phone. That led Paris to post messages on Twitter early Sunday pleading for help in finding her.

"yes, my grandmother is missing," Paris tweeted. "i haven't spoken with her in a week i want her home now."

She asked anyone who sees her grandmother to call police, even publishing her bodyguard's phone number.

Paris and her brothers Prince and Blanket have been in Katherine Jackson's custody since their pop icon father died three years ago.
Jackson "has never gone 24 hours without talking to her kids," Ribera said. "I'm concerned that she would never do this. We have no idea what's going on with her. No one has talked to her."

While Jackson still had not called her grandchildren by Sunday night, word reached the family that she was safe, according to a source close to the missing persons probe. The source did not want to be identified since they were not authorized to make the information public.

An Arizona law officer located Katherine Jackson with her daughter Rebbie on Sunday, the source said. When the officer, in the presence of Rebbie, asked Katherine Jackson if she wanted to leave the location she replied 'no,' the source said.

Jermaine Jackson's statement said he and his siblings took their mother to Arizona "in line with doctor's advice following a check-up."
Dr. Allan Metzger was brought into Jackson's home "under false pretenses" on July 14 by saying he was sent by her primary care physician, Ribera said. "We came to find out that her doctor has no association with Dr. Metzger."

Metzger was a defense witness in the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray last year, testifying that he treated Michael Jackson off and on for two decades for "his profound sleep disorder." Murray was subsequently convicted of involuntary manslaughter in Jackson's death.
"the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother... just saying," Paris Jackson tweeted.

The doctor advised Katherine Jackson that it was better for her to take a plane on a trip planned for the next day, rather than ride in a RV driven by Trent Jackson, Ribera said.

Jackson left with her oldest daughter, Rebbie, the next day to fly to Albuquerque, New Mexico, to attend a Jackson brothers concert two days later, she said. But she never arrived at the concert, Ribera said.

A letter made public Wednesday in which two daughters -- Rebbie and Janet -- and three sons -- Jermaine, Randy and Tito -- charge that Jackson, 82, was being mistreated by the executors of Michael Jackson's estate and mis-advised by her manager and lawyer.

Katherine Jackson Not Missing, Resting in Arizona

Katherine Jackson, the mother of Michael Jackson and guardian of his three children, is safe and with a family member in Arizona one day after a relative reported her missing.
Her children released a statement this morning saying the missing person’s report was “created by the very person and persons we are trying to protect our mother from.”
“We feel that there is a conspiracy to deflect the attention away from a letter we wrote asking for the resignation of executors, John Branca and John McClain, as well as some of her ‘advisors’ and ‘caregivers,’” the statement said. “We feel there is strong evidence that supports the falsification of documents in order to takeover and profit from the estate of our beloved brother, Michael Jackson.  We want answers.  The only feud that exists is between the Executors of the Estate and this family.  This is being handled by the proper authorities and due process will take place.”
Los Angeles County Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore confirmed Sunday that they have spoken to Jackson and she is “safe with family members.”
Jermaine Jackson released a statement saying that his mother was with her daughter, Rebbie, in Arizona “resting up on doctor’s advice.”
“Furthermore, it dismays me that such an alarmist ‘missing person’ report has caused unnecessary anxiety among Michael’s children who will understandably react to what they misunderstand, hear or are told,” Jackson said in the statement.
Questions about Katherine Jackson’s whereabouts began after a family member reported her missing Saturday. Michael Jackson’s 14-year-old daughter, Paris, sent out an alarming tweet asking for help on locating her grandmother.
“Yes, my grandmother is missing. I haven’t spoken with her in a week I want her home now,” Paris Jackson tweeted Saturday.
Katherine Jackson, 82, reportedly left her home in Calabasas, Calif., July 15 to fly to Albuquerque to watch her four sons in concert. Paris tweeted that she wasn’t able to get in touch with her grandmother for a week.
Whatever is going on, the Jackson family drama has been building in recent weeks. Five of Michael Jackson’s siblings last week said his will was fake and the executors of his lucrative estate should step down. Jackson’s entire fortune was left to his mother and three kids.
In response, the Jackson estate put out a statement saying, “We are saddened that false and defamatory accusations grounded in stale Internet conspiracy theories are now being made by certain members of Michael’s family whom he chose to leave out of his will. We are especially disheartened that they come at a time when remarkable progress has been made to secure the financial future of his children by turning around the estate’s finances as well as during a time when so many of Michael’s fans, old and new, are enjoying his artistry through exciting new projects.”

Paris Jackson recently engaged into a Twitter war with her uncle, Randy Jackson, calling him a liar after he said his mother had a mini-stroke.
There are also divisions among family members on how the late King of Pop’s children should be raised. Paris broke the news to Ellen DeGeneres that she’d landed a role in the movie “Lundon’s Bridge and The Three Keys,” and was inspired by her father.
Janet Jackson told Prevention magazine in May  “Now is not the time. I told her I thought she should enjoy being a kid, possibly go to college – or not – but wait till she turns 18.”

X17 EXCLUSIVE - Katherine Jackson’s Nephew, Trent, Being Investigated For Filing Bogus Missing Persons Report, Named In Investigation For Elder Abuse
Posted on Mon Jul 23, 2012 09:40 AM PDT

There is a pending investigation with the LA County Sheriff’s Department for elder abuse naming Katherine Jackson as the victim. Those being investigated include her nephew Trent Jackson, estate executors [for Michael Jackson's estate] John Branca and John McClain, and Jackson family advisors Lowell Henry and Perry Sanders, Jr.

Now that it’s confirmed Katherine Jackson is safe with her family in Arizona, the Jacksons are ready to take aim at the family member, they say, is “the very person and persons we are trying to protect our mother from.”

Trent Jackson, the son of Joe Jackson’s brother, currently lives with Katherine Jackson at their Calabasas home. For years, the family has suspected that Trent has been profiting from stories surrounding his cousins … Paris, Prince and Blanket, even selling exclusive photo opportunities and stories to a tabloid website.

The Jackson family released the following statement:
“This fallacious missing persons report was created by the very person and persons we are trying to protect our mother from. We feel that there is a conspiracy to deflect the attention away from a letter we wrote asking for the resignation of executors, John Branca and John McClain, as well as some of her “advisors” and “caregivers.”
We believe there is strong evidence that supports the falsification of documents in order to takeover and profit from the estate of our beloved brother, Michael Jackson. We want answers.
The only feud that exists is between the Executors of the Estate and this family. This is being handled by the proper authorities and due process will take place.”

A source tells X17online one website claims they have a source within the Jackson family giving them exclusive stories and the family now believes, "without doubt," that the source is Trent.

As for the pending elder abuse investigation, certain family members have already been interviewed by authorities, and we’re told, they’re “closing in” on Katherine’s nephew.

Calls to LA Sheriff's Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore have not yet been returned.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department En Route To Arizona To Do Welfare Check On Katherine Jackson
Posted on Jul 23, 2012 @ 12:30PM
By Jen Heger - Radar Assistant Managing Editor

UPDATE: The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives were TURNED AWAY at the house where Katherine Jackson is staying because they didn't have jurisdiction because the Pima County Sheriff's Department determined that Katherine was safe. The detectives were told Katherine was safe,  and are now on their way back to Los Angeles without having made any contact with Katherine.

Investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide & Missing Persons unit are en route to Arizona to do a welfare check on Katherine Jackson, after she was reported missing by her nephew, Trent, on Saturday night, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As we previously reported, several officers from the Pima County Sheriff's Department visited Katherine Jackson in Arizona on Sunday night. Katherine had been staying with daughter, Rebbie, and told the cops she was fine.

However, "the cops from Pima County didn't follow proper procedure and questioned Katherine in front of her daughter, Rebbie. Katherine should have been taken into a separate room and asked if she was OK, or being held against her will. The decision was made that two detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department would personally go to Arizona to ensure that Katherine was safe, and that everything is OK. It's being done out of an abundance of caution," a source close to the situation tells us.

This comes after Katherine was blindsided after a letter from several of her children demanded their resignations of the executors of Michael's estate, John Branca and John McClain (after three previous failed attempts). The letter, allegedly from Janet, Rebbie, Tito, Randy, and Jermaine, demanded the executors resign immediately because they believe the late singer's will was a fake. The letter also alleged that the executors' manipulations left Katherine in bad health, having recently suffered a mini-stroke (Katherine has denied such).

The executors have strongly denied the charges in the letter and have substantially increased the value of the estate. Also as Radar first reported, the statute of limitations has run out on challenging the will.

The matriarch of the Jackson family "still hasn't called Michael's children, who she is legally responsible for, nor has she spoken to her attorney, Perry Sanders," the source says.

Story developing....
