« on: January 24, 2011, 09:12:15 PM »
From MJLegend, Jan. 24th

As we all know, the Cirque du Soleil MJ tribute will start in Canada next october, and will be touring for 18 to 24 months in north america. However, there are talks, confirmed by AEG, of bringing the show to the O2 in London.
To be continued...

:huggle:  :ben:  I know, sometimes I think I must a sadist, but I do love watching the celebration of Michael and I love showing my younger children just how amazing he was.   :boohoo:  I think it's amazing that the Cirque du Soleil are performing a Michael tribute, he would love it.

Thats great that its coming to London, but Im with you Ben, going to see a Michael Jackson Tribute show in one of the last places I saw Michael and where he was due to perform makes my stomach heave. Its been nearly a year since I was last at The O2 complex, going there is just something I avoided when I lived in London

We're all different. I envy you in a way. I'm happy you can share Michael with your kids, its really great. I do it sometimes with my students, but I guess somehow they protect me mentally (does it make any sense?) so I can play some songs like Thriller or Beat it; which I absolutely cant listen to when I'm alone.
Oh well, as I said, if you can go, I hope you'll enjoy.

@Moony, yeah, I hear you. I would totally avoid that place too if I was in London. I did actually.

Don't get me wrong as much as I am happy to see the celebration at the same time it kills me inside.  I does make sense what you said about your pupils, it's the same with my children - I have to keep it together for them, especially my 10yr old who loves Michael but I know if she thought something would upset me she wouldn't want to watch it.  As you said we are all different and I don't think there is anything wrong with how you guys feel.
